Each quarter, department heads publicly share cultural best practices and advocate for our corporate vision and mission. Executives from our Japan headquarters visit Taiwan to host Town Hall Meetings, fostering two-way communication and helping every employee find purpose and meaning in their work.
2. Diversity & Inclusion: We actively encourage the recruitment of members from diverse backgrounds — across departments, genders, and professional disciplines — and promote cross-functional task forces that bring multiple perspectives to drive projects forward. We also provide training on diversity and inclusion to cultivate a culture of equity and belonging.
3. Rewards & Recognition: We maintain a fair and transparent performance appraisal and promotion system, and regularly engage external consultants to conduct comprehensive reviews of our compensation structure, ensuring both internal equity and external competitiveness. We host informal dining gatherings between managers and employees to listen to their voices, and organize year-end party, lucky draws, and family days to strengthen team cohesion and foster a strong sense of belonging.

Chugai Pharma Taiwan (CPT) is dedicated to fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities. In addition to engaging in charitable endeavors, it takes a cautious approach when evaluating supplier qualifications, opting for top-quality and eco-friendly products. Through the implementation of responsible purchasing practices, it has received commendation from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, earning the distinguished "2024 Buying Power Procurement Award".

Embracing talent, we strive for continuous improvement. Sustainable talent development has always been a paramount goal for us. In order to create a more diverse, equal, and inclusive workplace, we officially declare that Chugai Pharma Taiwan (CPT) is once again joining the "2024 TALENT, in Taiwan" alliance for sustainable talent development.

These events also allow Managers to connect with their teams, listen to employee voices, and enhance employee engagement and identification with the company.

4. Physical and Mental Health: Offering free annual health check-ups and health seminars, along with comprehensive group insurance covering spouses and children, ensures that employees can dedicate themselves to work with peace of mind. Our annual cycling event not only promotes the physical and mental well-being of employees and their families but also integrates social responsibility by visiting care institutions and donating supplies.

5. Cultivation and Growth: From onboarding training, common competency training, software application courses, coaching-style leadership programs, to small-group courses in English and Japanese, and full sponsorship of external professional training, we aim to empower each employee to excel in their roles, enhance job satisfaction, and assist them in advancing their careers within the organization. We tailor personal development plans for employees at different levels, including regular staff, grassroots supervisors, mid-level managers, and senior executives. We arrange courses on functional skills, personnel management, and strategic management. Employees have a smooth path for career advancement with abundant in-service training resources, ensuring a continuous source of learning motivation.

6. Communication and Experience: Organizing annual communication training courses to strengthen employee communication skills, we also introduce cross-department internship programs. This enables employees to apply for internships in other departments, providing them with diverse development opportunities and fostering collaboration across departments to facilitate the smooth completion of future projects. We will continue to take action to support initiatives alongside #CommonWealthLearning, #CheersHappyWorkers, #TalentSustainabilityChannel, and 400+ alliance partners, striving to create a better future for every working individual.
