Chugai Pharma Taiwan has been honored with the "Procurement Innovation Pioneer Award" by the Taipei City Government, recognizing its proactive efforts in procuring products and services from local startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and contributing to Taipei's industrial development.

The Taipei City Office of Commerce has launched the "Taipei Good Purchase Incentive Program" to encourage businesses to procure from local startups and SMEs. To date, this initiative has facilitated over NT$50 million in procurement transactions. On February 10, 2025, the Taipei City Government held an award ceremony and networking event at the Howard Civil Service International House, where Mayor Chiang Wan-an personally presented the awards. He reaffirmed the city's dedication to building an entrepreneur-friendly and AI-driven smart city.

The "Procurement Innovation Pioneer Award" recognizes the top 10 enterprises with the highest cumulative procurement amounts from September to November of the previous year. Chugai Pharma Taiwan was honored alongside King Yuan Fu Packaging, Fubon Life Insurance, Polylite Taiwan Optilab, A-SO Shoes, MUJI Taiwan, Chen-Li Educational Institution, Cai Jin Dian International Marketing, Taipei Medical University Hospital, and CHECK2CHECK. This recognition not only highlights corporate support for startups but also strengthens industry collaboration, injecting momentum into Taipei's innovation-driven economy.
